Den of Wolves - Oxford - 16/04/23

Announcing another game - Den of Wolves in Oxford, on Sunday the 16th of April. When I ran Watch the Skies: Second Sight in Oxford at the end of last year, it was (much to my surprise) significantly oversubscribed! So I'm hoping this wasn't just a fluke and that we can see a significant megagame community starting to grow in Oxford.

'Den of Wolves' is a game about a small fleet of interstellar vessels trying to balance survival, politics and military challenges as they attempt to stay one step ahead of their pursuers. The game is loosely inspired by Battlestar Galactica, but don't worry if you've never seen it - Den of Wolves is a completely original setting, more focused on the delicate balance between politics and the military, combined with a long-term crisis situation where survival is at stake, all with a spacey sci-fi twist!

Den of Wolves was one of my earlier original games and it has become something of a classic (much to my surprise). I started offering the game as a pack for running it as your own megagame, and now it is probably the second-most played megagame in the world (after Watch The Skies), with its mix of tense, survival-focused rules and freeform individual narrative elements proving extremely popular.

For more information and to sign up you can go to the game's page here: https://www.swmegagames.co.uk/den-of-wolves

The game will be held at Kennington Village Centre (Kennington Rd, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5PG) on Sunday the 16th of April 2023. The game will run all day from about 10am to about 5pm.
